Getting to EIM:

The Greek Institute of Metrology (EIM) is located in the Industrial Area of Thessaloniki, in Block 45, in Sindo, about 12 kilometres from the centre of Thessaloniki.

The access in the Industrial Area of thessaloniki, is possible, via the new National Road from Athens to Thessaloniki, or via the old national road.Sindo's village is served by the Organization of Urban Transport of Thessaloniki (OASTH).

 

How to reach Thessaloniki:

By Car:
Via the two main road axes, the new National Road Athens-Thessaloniki, or via Egnatia Road.
Concretely from North you reach in Thessalonica via the National Road Euzonon-Thessaloniki, from South via the National Road Athens-Thessalonica (Athens-Lamia-Larissa), from East via Egnatia Road (Alexandroupoli-Xanthi-Kavala), from West again via Egnatia Road (Ioannina-Grevvena-Kozani).

By Train:
Using the main railway from Athens to Thessaloniki or other railways of Greek Railway Organization (OSE) that serves the remainder cities.

By Plain:
Thessaloniki is connected by air, with regular itineraries, with many cities in Greece and abroad.
The airport -called Macedonia- is found Easternly the city.
