Objectives
of the Force Laboratory are:
- The
realization of the derived quantity of force
- Maintenance
and development of the national force standards.
- Dissemination
of the unit of force through calibration service provided
to calibration laboratories of the private and public sectors.
- Support
of interested parties through training and consultancy on
metrological issues in general and in particular regarding
the measurement of force.
- Support
of the National Metrology System and cooperation with European
and international metrology organizations for the mutual
recognition of measurement results
