The
Laboratory of Humidity Standards of the Hellenic Institute
of
Metrology (EIM) is responsible for maintaining and developing
the national standards of Greece in the field of humidity since
1999. It is located in building A of the Institute in the same
lab area of temperature laboratory.
It
is divided into two sections, a primary standards laboratory
responsible
for calibrating optical dew point hygrometers against our dew
point generator and a comparison calibration laboratory
responsible for calibrating
various types of humidity sensors in a test chamber
of controlled temperature and relative humidity.
Tasks of the Laboratory

To
develop and maintain the national standards of Greece in
the field of humidity

To offer calibration services in private metrology laboratories,
independent public or private institutions and companies

To
issue calibration certificates for the humidity measuring
instruments calibrated in the laboratory

To
offer consultancy services and training to anyone interested
in the field of
humidity calibration and measurement
